"The facilities at the hotel were excellent, but the restaurant meals were expensive (2-course £19.50) so I didn't try them. However, the hotel has a jetty and a ferry boat which takes you across the River Thames to Canary Wharf where there are many restuarants along the river front at very reasonable prices - a great place to have a meal. The hotel is a long way from a tube station, but the hotel bus runs a shuttle service every 20 minutes. It's not very convenient for the shops, theatres, etc., but it is peaceful and has very good conference facilities with buffet meals on the river terrace."

"one piece of soap is not enough - need at least two
herbal teas were not replentished regularly
regular sugar, only 2 little packs - not enough for a day even for one person
on one day hand towels were not placed back
exchange rate to dollars seemed rather bad - i should have used the cash machine, but it was not poited out to me by the staff"
